We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on PET and other recycling commodities. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
Developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the recycling industry to achieve targets and drive business growth
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the Nigeria, UK, and broader African markets
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the recycling commodities sector Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service and support
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics in the recycling sector
Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably within the recycling industry
Strong background in vendor management, negotiation, and contract management Knowledge of Nigeria and West Africa-wide procurement systems and logistics dynamics
Proven track record of leadership in a purchasing environment, demonstrating effective team management skills

Essential Requirements:

Proven sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably within the recycling commodities industry
Strong understanding of sales methodologies and techniques, specifically tailored to recycling materials like PET
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients in Nigeria, the UK, and other African markets
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Desirable Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Nigeria and West African sales demography and market dynamics Experience in the recycling industry or related sectors
Knowledge of sales analytics and performance metrics, particularly in the recycling commodities sector
